- Enhanced overall senior safety
- Increased satisfaction among family members for your loved one’s safety and well being.
EyeWatch LIVE® doesn’t wait for someone to press a button — our system watches proactively and alerts you or staff before an incident happens.
The thinking has changed around this topic. Given that cameras are now ubiquitous, cheap, easy to procure, and easy to setup, more and more families are considering installing one on their own. In fact, insurance carriers believe 10% of residents are on camera already, and that is likely to double within the next 3 years and double again within the next decade. As a result, the prevailing thought is that it is better for operators to install cameras as a way to deter families from doing so. Additionally, footage can be used to defend against a claim.
EyeWatch LIVE® is committed to maintaining privacy. We not only use secure networks and servers, and store data only for the necessary review period, but by using licensed or certified nursing staff as Monitoring Agents, they have a career and possible prosecution at risk for violating our data security policies. And as an added measure, we have a privacy button option for family/visitor use when needed.
EyeWatch LIVE® provides 24/7 monitoring, the live monitoring occurs overnight during 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Research shows that 60% of all falls in memory care occur during the night within 3 feet of the resident’s bed.
EyeWatch LIVE® Virtual Nurse Monitoring Centers are staffed with highly trained monitoring specialists, such as CNAs (certified nursing assistants), with licensed nurse oversight. A licensed nurse is always on hand to supervise. These Centers are strategically located adjacent to nursing colleges across the US and CNA students are able to train on the system and earn credit hours towards their degree.
Yes, the pilot program cost assumes that the home already has in-unit WiFi or Ethernet ports available. This existing infrastructure is necessary for the seamless operation of the EyeWatch LIVE® system. If your home doesn’t currently have in-unit WiFi or Ethernet ports, there may be additional costs to account for the necessary infrastructure setup. We recommend discussing your specific situation with our team to get an accurate cost estimate. We’re committed to transparency and want to ensure you have all the information upfront to make the best decision for your loved one.
